South Suez Capital, an investment manager based out of Mauritius, has launched Africa’s first independent private equity fund-of-funds targeted exclusively at the African Continent. The Fund’s investment strategy seeks to construct a diversified portfolio of funds or companies that are located in, or have a significant focus on Africa. The Fund will invest primarily in private equity funds that will typically target deal sizes between $2m - $100m per investment. The Fund’s investment objective is to achieve a target return of 20% IRR net of all fees.
